Dutch Bros Coffee launched its first Rock Hill shop Tuesday, March 31, at 2027 Celanese Road. The Oregon-based chain purchased 20 sites throughout the Carolinas from Mooresville-based Clutch Coffee Bar.

Rock Hill residents won't have to trek to Columbia or Spartanburg anymore. This marks the nearest option. The shop sits where Celanese meets Mt. Gallant roads, occupying what used to be a Clutch Coffee space.

Back in January, the company struck a deal to acquire Clutch Coffee Bar, according to The Herald. That purchase brought in spots across Rock Hill, Indian Trail, and Monroe.

Lattes, mochas, and cold brews fill the menu. Specialty drinks? There's the Golden Eagle — espresso mixed with caramel and vanilla breve, topped with caramel drizzle. Then there's the Double Torture, packed with an extra double shot of espresso plus vanilla and chocolate milk.

Protein coffees are available. So are blended freezes, energy drinks, smoothies, and whatever's in season. Nitro Cold Brew flows from the tap. Teas and lemonade are on offer, along with the Dutch Bros Rebel energy drink.

Muffin tops are offered at the drive-thru.

Doors open at 5 a.m., closing at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, the shop runs until 11 p.m.

This expansion plants the coffee chain nearer to Charlotte as it spreads throughout the Carolinas.
