Carowinds throws open its gates for 10 consecutive days starting April 3 through April 12. This lines up with school breaks across Charlotte and nearby regions.

According to Axios, the Spring Sale runs through April 12. Visitors can snag a Gold Pass for just $89 — the same price as a Silver Pass. Gold Pass holders get entry to other Six Flags locations like Dorney Park and Six Flags Great Adventure, plus free parking at every site.

The Conjuring: Beyond Fear arrives April 3-11. This high-intensity walk-through pulls guests into scenes from New Line Cinema's The Conjuring movies. Expect over 20 minutes of scares, special effects, and screen-to-scream moments. Parents should use caution. Kids under 13 might want to skip this one.

Camp Snoopy debuts two new rides this season.

Thrill-seekers can tackle 14 coasters. Fury 325 hits 95 mph and towers above most rides on the planet. It's a giga coaster that delivers serious speed and height.

Intimidator plunges riders down a 211-foot drop, then launches them over seven hills packed with airtime. Afterburn flips guests upside down while mimicking fighter jet moves at blistering speeds.

An Easter Egg Hunt happens on April 3-6 near Camp Snoopy between 10 and 11:30 a.m. Kids under 12 can join the search. A Cornhole Tournament kicks off April 4 and runs through April 12 on select dates, where teams of two go head-to-head.

On April 11 at 1 p.m., the park will try to break a world record. Loudspeakers will announce what's happening throughout the day.

Terminal A serves craft beer to guests 21 and over in a sky club setting that celebrates Carolina aviation history. Chickie's & Pete's Sports Grill — ESPN named it the No. 1 Sports Bar in North America — serves food alongside Burrito Café and Sharky's Grille.

The Carolina Skytower rises 262 feet. From the top, guests see sprawling views across both Carolinas. This attraction dates back to when the park first opened.

Carowinds claims the title of largest theme park in the Carolinas. It packs in more than 60 rides, live shows, a water park, and Carolina-style food.
