Spring brings blooms to pick-your-own flower locations across the Charlotte area.

Many spots let you pick flowers within two hours of Charlotte. Blooms appear from spring until fall ends. Fields across the Carolinas burst open with tulips when spring arrives, then sunflowers take over as the year progresses.
According to Axios, McLawland Farms sits in northeast Charlotte and operates May through October. You can pick flowers, take tours, attend events, or stay overnight in their Airbnbs. You must book ahead for Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. A farmhouse jar costs $14, while a VIP quart runs $38. The farm is 25 minutes from Uptown at 8632 Reedy Creek Road.
Wise Acres in Indian Trail lets you pick flowers from spring until fall. This organic operation opens in April when strawberries ripen. Berries and pumpkins are also available for picking. You need reservations for this spot, which is 30 minutes from Uptown at 4701 Hartis Road.
Aurora Flora sits near Lake Norman and opens most weekends between May and September. Their quarter-acre field holds hundreds of blooms. An individual cup with 20-25 stems costs $25. Need more? A bulk bucket with 75-85 stems runs $75. Book ahead for the Mooresville site at 169 Judas Road.
Curiosity Farm Flowers operates just minutes from downtown Concord. Pick flowers, join workshops, or sign up for subscriptions. Pre-cut blooms wait at the corner shop inside Nothing New Vintage, where you'll also find candles, prints, and nature-inspired gifts.
Pocket of Poppies in Unionville opens for the 2026 season in June and stays open until the first frost hits. U-pick hours get posted each month. Fill a pitcher with 30-40 stems for $25, or grab a bucket for $65. Kids pay $13 to fill a vase.
