Raising Cane's will open its first Charlotte-area spot next Tuesday at 520 John Ross Parkway in Rock Hill. The chicken chain takes over what used to be a Bob Evans site.

The Feb. 24 debut marks the fifth location in South Carolina. A company spokesperson confirmed plans in July 2025. The opening got pushed back from December, according to hoodline.com.

The company started in Louisiana back in 1996. Now it runs more than 900 restaurants. The chain sells chicken-finger meals, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and signature Cane's sauce.

Four locations work in North Carolina: Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Greenville, and Camp Lejeune.

The company wants to grow into the Charlotte market after the Rock Hill opening. Hiring has begun at the new site, with crewmember and management postings listed on the chain's careers portal.

The restaurant might feature the chain's "Lucky 20" promotion at launch, which hands 20 winners free Cane's for a year.

Other recent openings have drawn long lines. A Seattle debut earlier this month brought morning crowds to University Way.

The Rock Hill spot sits along the I-77 corridor. It will serve commuters and families in the area. The official store page lists the location with an Opening 02.24.26! banner.

Customers can check the company's website and social channels for updated hours and opening-time details. No ribbon-cutting events have been announced.
