The Hornets were originally supposed to play the 76ers at the Spectrum Center on Monday, January 26, at 7 p.m. Due to the weekend's ice storm and freezing temperatures remaining, the league changed the start time of the game. The team announced on social media Sunday evening regarding the change.
"Fan safety remains the organization’s top priority, and the Hornets encourage all fans to follow local weather guidance and exercise caution if traveling," said the statement.
Fans with tickets will be able to exchange them for a future regular-season game if they are unable to make it to Monday's game. Be on the lookout for information regarding the exchange process.
