The NBA announced on Thursday, January 22, that the Hornets vs. Wizards tip-off will be moved from 6 pm to Noon on Saturday, January 24.
WBTV reports that a storm watch for every county in the Charlotte area was issued on Wednesday, January 21, for the next four days. The storm is expected to impact the area starting Saturday, January 24th. We are expecting winter weather in the area starting around 2 p.m.
Governor Josh Stein issued a state of emergency for North Carolina following the announcement of the storm. "A winter storm is approaching, and now is the time to prepare. Please get ready," said Stein, reports WBTV.
