UNC Charlotte handed out more than 3,100 degrees and certificates at its 2025 Fall Commencement. Dale F. Halton Arena hosted the events on Dec. 12-13. Students received bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees across three sessions.

The ceremonies spanned Friday and Saturday. Two sessions took place Dec. 12 for undergrads, and one happened Dec. 13 for grad students. Jeanne-Marie "Ree" Linker, senior lecturer of mathematics and statistics, served as university marshal that Friday morning.

The Belk College of Business topped undergraduate conferrals with 496 bachelor's degrees — 60 of those were dual degrees or double majors. The College of Humanities & Earth and Social Sciences came next, distributing 640 bachelor's degrees. Of those, 94 students completed dual degrees or double majors.

The College of Computing and Informatics granted 329 bachelor's degrees. The William States Lee College of Engineering distributed 220 bachelor's degrees. Meanwhile, the College of Health and Human Services issued 233.

Emily Hoyle, senior class president, led graduates in turning their tassels at that same session. She completed a bachelor's degree in political science and communication studies.

Cassietta Broadhead served as bell ringer for the Friday afternoon ceremony. She finished a bachelor's degree in psychology. The Victory Bell rang nine times — once for each of the eight academic colleges and once for the Graduate School.

The Graduate School recognized 82 individuals who finished doctoral degrees during the Saturday ceremony. Sri Yeswanth Tadimalla addressed fellow graduates at that session after earning a Ph.D. in computing and information systems.
