Speedway Children's Charities has started its third annual Trees of Hope campaign at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This fundraising drive runs through Jan. 4 as part of the Speedway Christmas event.
Ten nonprofits focused on children, families, and vulnerable communities across the greater Charlotte region will display custom-decorated Christmas trees inside the Christmas Village. Visitors can vote for their favorite tree by making donations during the campaign.
Fans can cast votes Thursdays through Sundays inside the Christmas Village or online throughout the season. Each $5 donation equals five votes. $10 gets you 10 votes. $20 brings 20 votes. All proceeds benefit Speedway Children's Charities and help support each participating nonprofit's mission.
"Trees of Hope is more than a display — it's a chance to make a real difference in our community," said Taylor Kirby, director of SCC's North Carolina chapters, in a news release. "Every vote helps these charities expand their reach and support children and families who need it most."
The 2025 campaign features Best Buddies International, which creates opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Cameron's House of Hope supports children battling trauma from addiction in a Christ-centered setting. Exceptional Children's Assistance Center empowers North Carolina families of children with disabilities or special health care needs.
GHA Autism provides programs for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities. The HEARTest Yard, former Carolina Panther Greg Olsen's foundation, supports pediatric heart patients and their families. Kyle Larson Foundation focuses on youth, families and communities in need through hands-on support.
One7 Ministries offers transitional housing, soccer programs and outreach for Charlotte's refugee and immigrant communities. Pat's Place Child Advocacy Center coordinates care and protection for children impacted by abuse.
Safe House Project works to identify and support survivors of human trafficking through housing and holistic care. Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund advocates for infertility education and helps couples access fertility treatments.
Speedway Christmas runs nightly from Nov. 21 through Jan. 4 and will be closed Dec. 24. Tickets are sold per vehicle, with weekday prices starting at $46. Season passes and express lane passes are available through the Charlotte Motor Speedway website.
