WASHINGTON, DC - AUGUST 19: A cook pours vinaigrette on a Bub’s Italian Hoagie at Bub and Pop's on August 19, 2022 in Washington, DC. Since the beginning of Covid-19 restaurant owners have had to weather a rise in costs of supplies on top of employee turnover. According to Bub and Pop’s part owner and chef Jonathan Taub, the restaurant has seen a rise in prices for products like flour and frying oil. Since 2020, some of these price points have not yet returned to their pre-pandemic levels and remain unsteady. (Photo by Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images)

PrimoHoagies will open its newest spot in Charlotte on Nov. 13 at 10:00 a.m. The first 100 guests? They'll snag a free Primo Size Hoagie. The shop sits at 8736 Outlets Blvd. #400, Charlotte, NC 28278, and belongs to local residents Ashok Rao and Sahana Kaniyur.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony starts at 9:45 a.m. This event begins a four-day celebration that runs through Nov. 16.

"We were intrigued by the USA Today award of Best Sandwich Shop for 2023, 2024, and 2025, so we decided to try the hoagie and loved it," said Ashok Rao, per yahoo.com. "It feels great to own something that everyone really loves."

After those first 100 free sandwiches vanish, customers who sign up for the PrimoPerks Rewards Program can buy $10 Primo Size Hoagies from Thursday through Sunday during the grand opening weekend. The rewards program costs nothing to join at primohoagies.com/rewards.

USA Today named the chain the #1 Best Sandwich or Sub Shop in America for three consecutive years. The company is based in Westville, New Jersey.

The sandwich chain has served premium Thumann's meats and cheeses since 1992. Each sandwich features ingredients sliced fresh and piled high on signature seeded bread baked daily.

The company now operates franchise locations across nine states, including Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas.

The Charlotte spot will hire around 15 team members. Customers can choose from dine-in seating, takeout, and delivery options.

The menu focuses on specialty hoagies with Italian-style authenticity. Each sandwich is made to order.

The shop offers catering services with hoagie trays for special events, gameday gatherings, and luncheons. Hours? 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.
