"We are so proud to be bringing this expansion to the Charlotte community. For folks struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders for medical detox and residential treatment," said Taylor Hart, according to Queen City News.
Starting this August, the center will start taking in patients. Set along Statesville Road, this medical hub marks a big step forward for local healthcare.
Staff at Carolina Center for Recovery see this site as a natural growth of their work in North Carolina. Patients can get both detox help and live-in care at the center.
Medical staff will treat both addiction and other health problems at once. By offering many services in one spot, patients won't need to travel between different places for care.
Staff members focus on making sure patients stay well after they leave. The big campus lets them offer many kinds of treatment under one roof.
Medical staff guide each person through detox with care. Those who want more help can stay longer for extra treatment steps.
This center adds to the state's network of care sites. North Charlotte residents now have help closer to home.
The site joins other medical centers on Statesville Road. Over time, this part of town has turned into a key spot for getting medical care.
Local medical experts say this center fills a big gap in care. Its size means many people can get treatment when they need it most.
